Since its inception in 2009. the Silver Creek Education Foundation has donated over $170,000 in grants to support academic enrichment, building improvements, staff appreciation, and student education at Silver Creek High School.
Grants may be awarded to staff, departments, and academic clubs to offset the gap between district funding and the needs within our school.
SCEF provided iPad Pros with pencils and sports equipment to the Special Ed classes at SCHS. These gifts have enriched the lives of these students by helping their teachers reach them in new and exciting ways.
The SCEF purchased a pottery wheel and stand for the ceramics classes at SCHS, giving our art students more opportunity to nurture their creativity.
Last year, the SCEF paid for a field trip to the Denver Art Museum for the History & Art Departments. This experience enriched the curriculum being taught in class by bringing it to life.
With your support, SCEF can continue to do amazing things to enrich the educational experience of all the students at SCHS. SCEF has underwritten SAT classes, provided calculators to the Math Department, purchased textbooks for AP Psychology & History, and bought AP Research supplies, to name a few.
As a volunteer run organization, we are always looking for parents and community members to help us fulfill our mission. You can help the SCEF continue to make an impact on the education of all students at Silver Creek by volunteering your time and helping to spread the word about the work that we're doing on behalf of our Raptor Nation.
Find out about the various ways you can support SCEF by participating in passive fundraisers or making a direct donation.
